Hello! I’m Rice Library’s new Reference and Instruction Librarian, I just started working here in June and I’m very excited to meet everyone this year. Here are 7 fun facts about me:
1. I went to the University of Michigan and am a huge Wolverines fan. I actually went there twice, both for my bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
2. My last name (Clark) is on the periodic table of elements in order. Can you find it?
3. I have a Giant Schnoodle (Giant Schnauzer and Standard Poodle Mix) named Luna. Can you tell I really love Harry Potter?
4. My favorite class that I took in college was a summer class and travelled to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We read Henry David Thoreau and hiked mountains everyday.
5. My favorite animals are Bison (I wish I had gotten a picture with one, but I was afraid of this happening to me).
6. The best concert I’ve been to is The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys.
7. I love being a librarian because I want to connect people to the information that they need.
