The John Wooden Connection at USI

In 1976, John Wooden, UCLA-famed basketball came to USI, then known as ISUE. During his tenure at UCLA, they won ten NCAA men’s basketball titles in twelve years, including seven titles in a row. Wooden went to an ISUE basketball game, met with students, and held an evening presentation in the Forum, featuring his “Pyramid of Success”.
